Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at Kanombe Airport in Kigali, your safari guide will welcome you and begin a city tour, showcasing Rwanda’s scenic “land of a thousand hills.” Kigali is known for its cleanliness and warm, hospitable people. Key stops include the Genocide Memorial Museum, which provides insight into Rwanda’s history, and the National Museum, along with other city attractions. After the city tour, enjoy a scenic drive through terraced hills en route to Volcanoes National Park, renowned for its rare mountain gorillas. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Afternoon Nature/Cultural Walk
Start early with breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking and safety guidelines from the park rangers. Embark on a guided trek through the lush forest in search of mountain gorillas. Trekking involves some physical effort, including climbing hills, but the reward is unforgettable: observing gorillas as they feed, play, care for their young, and rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural walk with local communities to learn about their traditions and daily life. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking & Return to Kigali
After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing on Golden Monkey trekking. Trek through the forest and encounter these playful primates as they leap through the trees, alongside other primates and diverse flora. After this exciting adventure, drive back to Kigali. If time permits, visit local craft shops for souvenirs before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
